Description of the property

A long-prepared vision of the revitalization of SNP Square, the first phase of which, entitled "Living Square," was presented in May 2018. This first phase included a series of small and undemanding interventions that were to improve the condition and usability of the space until a comprehensive architectural competition was announced. The costs were at the level of EUR 900,000.The architectural competition took place in 2019-2021. The winner proposed a series of interventions that will unite the individual squares, while giving each square a separate identity. Transport should be largely calmed, however, an underground garage will be built in the lower part of SNP Square. Green areas should be preserved and expanded. The entire space should be leveled and extended.After a long preparation, work began in the autumn of 2025. The investor, i.e. the city, had to divide the project into smaller phases due to high costs.
