Information about Horšianska dolina. Horša is a part of Levice, with a rural character. Noteworthy is certainly the well-preserved street of historic houses (from the square to the left and right). Once, up to three mills operated here. One of them dates from the first half of the 19th century and is listed as an Immovable National Cultural Monument. Owners are slowly and gradually trying to save it. In addition, Horša has an Evangelical church built in 1820. Horša is nestled in the middle of the valley, dividing it into two parts. Signposts will lead you to the educational trail. Typical for Horšianska dolina are rock cliffs reaching 20 to 30 meters in height in several places. The valley has a rich representation of insects, rare species of birds and reptiles, as well as diverse plant communities. Continuous forest cover and distance from roads ensure very good air quality in Horšianska dolina. The valley represents the largest reserve in the district, significant from a geomorphological and botanical perspective. In 1976, it was declared a National Nature Reserve with a 4th degree of protection.
