The building, commissioned in 1938, features a reinforced concrete structure with brick infills. Its external facades are clad in Spiš travertine, and the entrance areas and halls are adorned with high-quality gray marble. At the time of its completion, the building stood out for its advanced design and technical equipment, ranking among the best European realizations. The project was conceived by architect Alexander Skutecký, a prominent figure in functionalist architecture in Slovakia, who utilized the most modern construction technologies and materials.
Apartment: A spacious 4-room apartment dominated by an amazing terrace. Three spacious pass-through rooms are complemented by a clever small room behind the kitchen. Another pass-through room leading to the terrace is suitable for use as a dining area, for example. The reinforced concrete beams of the building allow for variations in space (partitions) according to the client's preferences.
