If photos could smell, those from our cottage would exude the scent of tangerines, freshly baked homemade Christmas bread, and a piece of the forest, preserved in the wood of our self-made barrel. This cottage has its own soul and story. We have meticulously refined its authentic interior over the years into a gentle, romantic retro style. If you are looking for a place where long winter evenings have a fairy-tale charm, where the setting sun quietly bows behind the balcony windows, and in summer you can sit under the forest in divine silence, undisturbed, then you have just found your destination. The main dominant feature of the interior is a large living room connected to the kitchen. A space where life is lived, laughter is shared, meals are cooked, and stories are told. During Christmas, our three-meter Christmas tree stood here, and the room filled with light, the scent of pine needles, and a feeling of home. Upstairs, there are two separate bedrooms: in one, two adults can comfortably sleep on a double bed, while the 'children's room' has a bunk bed for children and a sofa bed for another 2 people. As for the number of beds, there is also a sofa bed in the living room for 1–2 people. A great advantage of the cottage is a separate dining room, where eight people can comfortably sit at once – ideal for long family lunches, board games, or evenings full of conversation. The bathroom is furnished with handmade solid wood furniture. Two windows let in plenty of natural light. The bathroom features a boiler, bathtub, toilet, and sink, with ample space for a drying rack and cabinets, so everything has its place. The entire cottage is very sunny, with large windows that flood the interior with light throughout the day. It has its own rainwater source with a total capacity of approximately 3 m³, and with careful use, this volume has been perfectly sufficient for us for years. For good measure, there is another roughly one-cubic-meter tank next to the cottage for pumping. Drinking water needs to be brought, or you can 'draw' it from the local studničky during a walk. For those who desire more comfort, there is the option to drill their own studňu. Neighbors in the vicinity have studne, and there are no issues with groundwater. Waste is handled by a septic tank on the property. On the lowest floor, there is a pivnica with a garážou, which provides ample space for all DIY tools, preserves, and baskets of fruit from three jabloní – they bear beautiful, sweet apples every year. A large orech also grows on the property, providing more shade than nuts, as the local veveričky are very clever. Additionally, there's a six-year-old čerešňa, marhuľa, slivka, ríbezle, and černice. The lower floor of the cottage is murované, while the upper floor is made of sendvičových dielcov and is zateplené. The sheet metal strecha was painted in 2024, we gradually painted all okenice blue, and decorated the exterior with moravské kvety. An prístupová cesta leads to the 800m² pozemku, and there is parking space for 2 aut directly on the pozemku, with dalšie miesta available next to the pozemku. Furthermore, the property includes a small domček na strome for children, a hojdačka, a summer altánok with a tienidlom built in 2025, an ohnisko, retro kolky, and a storage area for palivového dreva. The cottage has mobile signal for several operators, and watching Netflix in the evening is not an issue. The reason for selling is simple: we are looking for something larger where we could stable horses. Although we have come to terms with the sale, this cottage still holds a special charm for us, and every farewell at the end of a weekend hurts anew.
