I am selling a unique, historically valuable 4-room apartment with a spacious terrace (50m2) in the very center of the Old Town. The apartment is located in a building that was put into use in 1938. The building has a reinforced concrete structure with brick fillings, the external facades are lined with Spiš travertine, and the entrance areas of the building's corridors and halls are lined with high-quality gray marble. At the time of its commissioning, the building was one of the best European realizations in terms of its design and technical equipment. The project was developed by architect Alexander Skutecký, who was one of the prominent representatives of the then functionalist architecture in Slovakia, using the most modern construction technologies and materials.
Apartment:
A spacious 4-room apartment dominated by a wonderful terrace (floor plan in the photo documentation). Three spacious connecting rooms are complemented by a smart small room behind the kitchen. A connecting room towards the terrace is suitable for use as a dining room, for example. The reinforced concrete supports of the building allow for varying the spaces (partitions) according to the client's preferences. The apartment has an area of 102 m2, a terrace of 50m2 and a cellar of 6m2.
The original state of the apartment, very actively maintained, with historical details - completely original handles, wooden windows, doors in good condition.
The electrical installation in the apartment was reconstructed in 1998.
Classic wooden parquet floors prevail within the apartment floor, almost all of which is further usable. The kitchen and toilet have maintained classic, original tiles.
The unique terrace has varied uses due to its suitable shape. It connects the street with the courtyard of the building.
The apartment is located on the 2nd of six floors. The building is equipped with a beautiful original elevator cabin and a modern engine room.
Heating - the house has its own boiler, heating elements: radiators, ladder radiator in the bathroom.
Location:
The building is located on the last accessible street by car to the pedestrian zone of the Old Town. Possibility of parking within the "Parking Policy" by purchasing an annual card. By crossing through the passages of the opposite building, you will immediately find yourself in the pedestrian zone of the Old Town's historic streets. Immediate distance to the P.O. Hviezdoslav Theatre, the historic building of the Slovak National Theatre, Reduta. Suitable location for "walking" access to the Danube promenade, as well as to the Eurovea shopping center.
