Renovation: The house, built of fired brick from the 1960s, underwent extensive and complete renovation in 2019 and 2020. All water and electricity distribution systems were replaced, new insulating 7-chamber plastic windows with triple glazing Salamander and entrance doors were installed. New fine plaster renders were applied throughout the house, and plasterboard ceilings were lowered. All interior doors and door frames, custom-made by a carpenter, were replaced. The house was underpinned, and new concrete floors were poured in all rooms, with waterproofing and 20 cm insulation using Neofllor 200 floor polystyrene. The roof truss is insulated with a 20 cm layer of blown cellulose, and the external shell of the house was insulated with NOBASIL mineral wool 20 cm thick, so the house is insulated on all sides and is essentially low-energy with low operating costs. Heating throughout the house is provided by Heatflow electric heating foils, which are embedded in an anhydrite screed, and a threshold-free ceramic tile is laid over the entire surface. Each room has local Vaillant recuperation and a thermostat for heating control. The roof has new fired tiles, lightning rods, and solar panels are installed. The facade is prepared for the installation of a "wallbox" for convenient electric car charging. Wastewater is directed to a certified and approved domestic wastewater treatment plant with preparation for connection to the municipal sewage system, which is in the project phase.
